In our third and final installment of our Yummy Life series, we’re going to help you fine tune your wish list and your attitude, helping you to focus and remain open to receiving your bounty. Just to review, in steps 1 & 2 we taught you how to clear your energy field and own the space in the center of your head (control center) as well as how to create energetic boundaries that will serve you in getting all those things you want in life, keeping other people’s agendas out of the mix for you.
Your wish list: Getting focused
Now you might be saying, “Fine tuning my wish list? When did we make a wish list?” And you’re right — we didn’t make a wish list in part 1 or 2 of this series — but that’s because we didn’t have to. You already have one! We all have our own internal wish lists. Whether yours is a few big items or your list is a mile long, you’ve been wishing for things all your life. But wishing, hoping, dreaming, and even simply being a positive person isn’t enough to make those dreams flow true as a reality. Not without clarity of focus and intention.
While writing down your yearly goals or making a vision board can certainly help you in creating that wish list and in having something tangible to focus on — the Law of Attraction is not about how hard you work or even how big you dream. It’s about energetic clarity of intention and how that clarity can provide a sort of super highway to the realization of your greatest wishes for your life.
(*If you are one of the few that has not yet watched The Secret, we highly encourage you to do so now. It will give you a bit more background on the Law of Attraction and help you see where all this energetic clarity is headed.)
Fine tuning your wish list
If you’ve never put your internal wish list to paper, now is the time. Take a few moments to quickly jot down all those things you’ve been hoping for or working towards in your life. Then, read your list — how do you feel about it?
- If it feels interesting, inspiring, exciting, believable you are on the right track
- If it feels unreachable, if you are in doubt we have some fine tuning to do, here are some do and don’ts that may be helpful
Throughout this process, the way you feel matters. Pay attention to those feelings or instincts — what people call your “gut.” This is your barometer for whether or not something is in alignment with your center, whether or not it is truly a fit for you. If it feels sticky icky, then it probably doesn’t belong to you and shouldn’t be on your list. Tuning in means really listening to that inner voice, not the pre-programmed one that tells you what people expect of you, but the one deeper down, in your “gut” that you can only reach, once you’ve found your center.
Before we get started with our fine tuning process, it’s a good idea to remind you — if you are doubting your worthiness as we begin (or your ability to make your dreams come true) then you have skipped the first essential steps of clearing your energy and owning your space. Go back to Parts 1 and 2 and do the exercises there again to get your mind, energy, and intentions clear.
The Dos and Don’ts of clarifying your intention
DO:
1) Elaborate about the person/place or thing you are asking for as this builds excitement and passion to draw in the manifestation of it much quicker. State all of the exciting things it will bring. (i.e. I am so excited to buy the property of my dreams, to have the freedom to travel as I choose, buy anything I choose. It feels so good to be debt free!)
2) Remember to always state in present terms (i.e. thank you for my financial abundance that is flowing to me now from many sources that is allowing me to purchase the house of my dreams).
3) Commit to writing in your Awesome Me book every day, morning is best before you even get out of bed it will help set your intentions for the day, even if it is just a few words like, “I am so aligned with my higher self today,” do it, it will help you build focused intent.
4) Lighten up and have fun.
DON’T:
1) Don’t focus on anyone but yourself while writing, it muddles your energy and disempowers you very quickly (i.e. I wish my boss would give me that raise I so greatly deserve, that bastard). You just handed them all your power by relying on him as your source of abundance. Replace that statement with I am open and aligned to receive my financial abundance (or whatever you desire) that is mine now.
2) Don’t go looking for what you just asked for, be patient and open, see how it feels when you do that.
3) Don’t worry if you don’t know what you want yet. Ask to be open to your joy and passions (i.e. Please bring me all the right people/places things that really resonate with my joy and passion or help me come into alignment with what really excites me and feeds my creativity!).
4) Don’t write out of desperation, all of this is yours already, the writing helps you to feel the excitement of creating and that high vibration brings you into alignment with it.
Remaining open to your Bounty
This part is easy — simply remember to have fun with the creation/manifestation process. As long as you are having fun, you will remain open to receiving the bounty you desire.
